Responsibilities

  • Career management of Regular and Army Reservist personnel in London District Units and management of the Honours and Awards process for LONDIST military and civilian personnel. Provide competent advice and maintain accurate records within the HQ LONDIST geographical area of responsibility.
  • Responsible to the Deputy Chief of Staff for all Career Management matters for LONDIST units
  • Provide Career Management support to Senior Personnel in LONDIST units
  • Act as the link between LONDIST and Army Personnel Centre regarding staffing and boarding
  • Oversee the grading process for the personnel reporting year in LONDIST to including. collation of grades, organisation of conferences and dissemination of feedback.
  • Organise and act as Secretary for all local Appointment and Selection Boards to including. FTRS, Cadets and Reserves.
  • Provide assurance support to Appointment and Promotion Boards
  • Responsible for MS Assurance of the HQ and coordination of Assurance for LONDIST units
  • Manage the military and civilian Honours and Awards system in LONDIST to including. collation of citations, organisation of boards and staffing of Provide support to APC Glasgow appointment and selection boards and disseminate the results to notifying officers
