Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Establishment Manager in their absence
  • Garrison representative at relevant stakeholder meetings for both internal and external organisations i.e. Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), Pinnacle (Housing) Local Community etc
  • Establishment Security Officer - Ensure that security and standards comply with policy. Management of Military Provost Guard Service (MPGS) detachment, Ensure that the physical security infrastructure and policies reflect current policy and best practise
  • Ensuring robust Business Continuity Site arrangements are in place and fostering a site-level Business Continuity culture. Ensure a site plan is developed, maintained and tested
  • Fulfil the duties of Fund manager for the Leuchars Fund. Review submissions for non-public funds from Garrison Units supporting activities and events
  • Manage and coordinate Garrison Service Family Accommodation (SFA) infrastructure issues and projects affecting the Married Personnel ’Lived Experience
  • Act as a focal point for Civilian Staff and Military Line Managers of civilian staff
  • Act as the Postal Liaison Officer assuming overall responsibility for postal and courier matters within Leuchars
  • Act as the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor, ensuring compliance with wider MoD policy
  • Liaison Officer for Kohler Air encroachment; including collaborative planning for major golf events, Leuchars events and Tier 1 Exercises
  • Line management responsibilities as directed
