Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the extraction of raw material by means of excavator and managing the third-party excavation processes or load and haul activities.
  • Knowledge of extracted minerals and relevant applications for processing onsite to support site personnel.
  • Responsible for planning permission related restrictions, discharge licencing, hour of operation implications and restoration phasing/works.
  • Understanding of the Quarry Regulations 1999 acting as Section 8 responsible person.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for site, appropriate risk assessments and permit to work control.
  • Responsible for supporting the management and development of the production team onsite, ensuring they are appropriately trained and competent to deliver on site.
  • You will support continuous improvement initiatives and lean working practices onsite.
  • Reporting and investigating any accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards to Synergy platform.
  • Assist with the financial and operational KPI performance of the site in line with budget requirements.
