What is the primary role of the Assistant Service Delivery Manager?
The primary role is to provide administrative support to Surgical Services, assisting in the delivery of operational and clinical performance while adhering to administrative processes.

No, the post holder will be expected to work cross-site.
What are my responsibilities regarding team meetings?
You will attend and document weekly team meetings, relaying all relevant information to the appropriate teams.
How will I manage staff absences?
You will support in keeping accurate records of both medical and non-medical absences in accordance with Trust policy.
Are there opportunities for process improvement in this role?
Yes, you will ensure that administrative processes are reviewed regularly for improvements.
Will I be involved in training new admin staff?
Yes, you will coordinate and assist in the induction and ongoing training of admin staff in all aspects of their duties.
How will I ensure compliance with national guidelines and targets?
You will ensure that all staff accurately record and validate data in adherence to national guidelines and targets, such as the 18-week standards.
What should I do if there are cancellations in the department?
You will need to assure that any cancellations are validated and reported on a daily or weekly basis.
