Responsibilities

  • handle a variety of administrative tasks and provide secretarial support, including managing diaries, coordinating meetings and events, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining and distributing key information
  • contribute to several important initiatives, such as administering a career support scheme for postdoctoral researchers, reviewing travel and IT funding applications for PhD students, and serving as the primary contact for university cards, Zoom licenses, and telephony services within the department
  • play a key role in drafting a regular newsletter for staff and students
  • support Faculty-level projects focused on promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • assist colleagues when needed, including supporting the HR team with recruitment activities and helping the Undergraduate Office during peak exam periods
