Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provides front-line legal support for site operations throughout the DPD Europe sites
  • Provides legal advice for site operations in DPD Europe on a broad range of legal, regulatory, and compliance areas, including commercial, anti-trust, regulatory, licensing, controlled substance, quality, and data privacy
  • Assesses legal risks and provides recommendations and alternative mitigating resolutions to Sites and senior management
  • Advises on commercial/business complex disputes, including vendor and client escalations, investigations, and dispute resolution
  • Collaborates with Group Contracting team, Regional counsel, and Functional counsel as needed for support on matters
  • Supports contracts related to client services and sourcing, including proposals, SOWs, etc., including through drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts as requested
  • Serves as the subject matter expert to lead, anticipate, and drive solutions for a range of legal and business issues
  • Provides training to other functional groups within DPD on contract requirements and other legal matters
  • Collaborates with project teams to drive the execution of certain strategic projects and initiatives related to business growth and expansion of business services within Europe
