Do we support remote work?
This role is not approved for remote work; office presence at Lilly Corporate Center in Indianapolis is expected a minimum of three (3) days per week.
What are the basic requirements for this position?
The basic requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of applicable work experience, and 1+ years of previous experience in Human Resources or a minimum of 3 years of total work experience.
Is travel required for this position?
Yes, there may be occasional travel to sites outside of Indianapolis.
What is the anticipated wage range for this position?
The anticipated wage for this position is $57,750 - $129,800, depending on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
What types of issues will I be coaching supervisors and employees on?
You will coach supervisors on leadership/management skills, team effectiveness, employee development, policy application, performance management, and internal staffing processes. You will coach employees on workplace issues, meeting performance expectations, professional and career-related issues, and personal issues with referrals.
What experience is preferred for this role?
Preferred experience includes more than 4+ years of total work experience, specifically in managing employee relations issues and/or investigations into potential policy violations.
Will there be opportunities for career development?
Yes, you will contribute to and lead projects and workshops that improve internal HR processes and may also have opportunities for continued learning and development within the company.
How important are communication skills for this role?
Strong written and oral communication skills in all forums—email, group presentation, face-to-face meetings, and phone conversations—are very important for this role.
