What qualifications are required for the Associate Practitioner position?

What types of tests will I be performing?
The Associate Practitioner will undertake routine and non-routine tests and activities as identified by individual laboratories, up to but not including the point of validation, with the exception of auto-authorized procedures.

Yes, the role works as part of a large team consisting of a mixture of Biomedical Scientists, Associate Practitioners, and Biomedical Assistants.
What is the process for maintaining laboratory equipment?
The Associate Practitioner is responsible for monitoring and performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring logs are completed and reporting any malfunctions to Biomedical Scientist staff.
How will I manage stock control in the laboratory?
The Associate Practitioner will maintain sufficient stocks of reagents and supplies, keep stock control records, and liaise with relevant stores staff for timely deliveries.
