  • Knowledge of at least one development language such as Ruby on Rails or JavaScript
  • What Can Help Your Application Stand Out:
  • Internship or other prior team software development experience
  • Prior programming experience in a web environment
  • Degree in Computer Science or a completed Bootcamp
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails or React
  • Git based version control
  • Database skills such as SQL within Postgresql

Responsibilities

  • Report to an Engineering Manager dedicated to the delivery team
  • Develop a high-quality, stable, and well-tested web application
  • Apply database skills against a large and growing dataset
  • Create full features in short development cycles, including frontend and backend code
  • Work in close coordination with designers, product managers, data scientists, developers, and partners
  • Track metrics alongside core features to help make informed decisions
  • Balance development with collaborative meetings
