Responsibilities

  • Draft and conclude commercial contracts, promotional licence agreements, amendments and other legal documentation required by the Studio Marketing/Disney+ Marketing/Brand & Franchise management/Corporate Communications businesses in EMEA
  • Provide studio and music clearances support and liaise with Burbank in relation to such clearances
  • Liaise with the business teams in London and the overseas offices where necessary in relation to agreements
  • Advising on all marketing activities undertaken by Studio Marketing /Disney+ Marketing/Brand & Franchise management/Corporate Communications
  • Supporting on ad hoc projects and taking the lead where requested
  • Strengthen internal relationships in ways that benefit the business
  • Keep know-how sites up to date with general marketing legal advice
  • Contract management lifecycle from inception to execution
  • Organization of documentation and systems
  • Work effectively with departmental colleagues on a cross-functional and cross-territory basis
  • Adhere to defined best practice processes, taking opportunities to improve them where available
  • Keep up to date with relevant legal developments (including ASA adjudications) and, where appropriate, take opportunities to share that knowledge with colleagues
  • Foster a ‘continuous improvement’ culture, ensuring that policies and processes will protect the business
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve existing processes and procedures, including standardization of documents and legal resources.
