Responsibilities

  • Partner on defining product vision, strategy, value, and OKRs.
  • Develop and maintain well-informed product roadmaps that align with organizational objectives across a large portfolio of products.
  • Partner with other groups (Design, Engineering, Architecture, etc.) to understand appropriate roadmap forecasts and resolve and communicate variances.
  • Refine priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks in partnership with business and other innovation partners.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges, and presents innovative solutions that meaningfully address them.
  • Drive requirements analysis and employ systems-thinking in product development.
  • Review end output to detect possible slippages that can impact quality of the output.
  • Create launch strategies to support rollout and adoption of products and releases.
  • Define and track product metrics.
  • Present to large and small forums both internally and externally to provide clarity, gain alignment, and build excitement.
  • Influence and collaborate with partners and leaders in innovation, business managers, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Leverage different methods like meetings, interviews, surveys, questionnaires, etc. to create feedback loops.
  • Lead critical discussions and negotiations, ensuring alignment and agreement on product goals.
  • Evaluate return on product investment and product profitability.
  • Articulate and communicate to stakeholders the benefits, tradeoffs, ROI, options, and recommendations for incremental realization of value as well identification of points of diminishing returns.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Act as a coach and mentor, promoting employee growth and development.
  • Ensure the team adheres to company practices and values.
  • Inspire high performance and foster a positive work environment. Be an example of living the values of Berkadia and the innovation pillars.
  • Self-develop by staying current with new technology and features, agile methodology updates and product management trends.
