Responsibilities

  • Your duties will involve work in Bacteriology, Mycology, Parasitology, Serology and Molecular.
  • In addition to the receipt of goods and deliveries, the post holder will be responsible for sorting, labelling, booking and culturing a variety of samples.
  • The successful applicant will be expected to safely deal with laboratory waste.
  • All duties and tasks should be performed in accordance with SOP's and if queries are encountered these should be referred to the MLA Supervisor, Biomedical Scientist or Senior BMS, as appropriate.
