Responsibilities

  • Supports administration of benefit plans including testing, auditing, reporting, funding and annual open enrollment of medical, dental, vision, FSA, life, disability, HSA, wellness and 401(k) plans.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders (HRBP’s, managers, and employees) to ensure benefit offerings are well understood, changes are communicated effectively and escalated issues are resolved accurately and timely. Develops and presents education materials as needed.
  • Engages with external providers (carriers, brokers, Alight Benefits, etc.) to ensure cost-effective service delivery, resolution of escalated issues, and compliance with plan parameters.
  • Provides oversight to third party benefit providers on eligibility determination, eligibility issues, new enrollees, employee status changes and other questions involving plan participants.
  • Maintains and audits benefit enrollment records to ensure the accuracy of premium deductions and expense calculation for general ledger capture.
  • Partners with Payroll, HRIS, and HR Operations to ensure data flows, deduction files, and interfaces are properly functioning and tested.
  • Assist in developing metrics to measure impact and results of wellness and benefit programs.
  • Handles the monthly tracking and processing of benefit invoices and ensures projections are updated as needed.
  • Actively remains current on industry and regulatory changes through training and available literature.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
