Responsibilities

  • Provide a sustainable and efficient high quality Pathology Service for Derbyshire
  • Accreditation of the combined service to UKAS ISO: 15189 to assure our users of the highest technical standards and quality of service in all that we do
  • Participation with staff and team development is actively encouraged at the Band 5 level
  • Support training and competency assessment of the Associate practitioners and Medical Laboratory Assistant staff
  • Familiarisation and understanding of ISO 15189 standards, Health & Safety requirements; audit and training/education techniques is desirable
