  • Passion for sport: The successful candidate will have a strong passion and understanding of sport, especially football, and will be willing to immerse themselves in the day to day news and stories surrounding sport.
  • Creative: A creative problem solver with the ability to develop and lead exciting marketing plans is critical. The Brand Manager will be responsible for briefing, judging and leading creative ideas and campaigns. As well as challenging the status-quo and leading new creative thinking across the business.
  • Project Management: This individual will have a track record of being able to prioritise key tasks, plan ahead and work to tight delivery deadlines, whilst ensuring every project is delivered with detailed execution.
  • Collaboration: The individual will have proven collaboration skills, able to build positive relationships with numerous areas of the business whilst also ensuring a top quality end result is achieved. Ability to work independently and in a team as well as ability to take on responsibility for own projects.

  • Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Marketing and brand management with a leading brand.
  • Proven track record of working and leading campaigns, across different channels.
  • Strong portfolio of brand work (ATL, BTL campaign, activations) strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of media and media strategies to deliver media plans.
  • Experience of marketing fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to plan & deliver on both short & long campaigns.
  • Experience handling agencies, partners and the briefing/feedback process.
  • Budget management

Responsibilities

  • Creative : Lead the briefing, development and execution of Sports creative plans (Football, Racing, Darts, Rugby, Golf, NFL). You’ll be a driving force of our biggest campaigns and brand moments.
  • Media : Support the Senior Brand Manager with our media agencies, you’ll be comfortable writing briefs, handling feedback and driving media deals and plans.
  • Campaign Management: While taking a lead role in campaigns is a critical part of this role, you’ll also need to put your shoulder to the wheel and delivering our weekly football plans. This means knowing your way around our Workfront ticketing system and managing our internal Studio team.
  • Sponsorship: Collaborate with key partners both internally and outside the Paddy Power business to deliver incremental media value across our biggest sponsorships, such as TalkSport and The Peter Crouch Podcast. Coming up with new features and activating the sponsorship
  • Activations & Events: Coordinate and deliver activations and events for the Paddy Power Brand. You’ll play a pivotal role in the organisation, management, and delivery of activations/events like Fan-zones, World Darts Championship and Cheltenham.
  • Mischief/Content : Help deliver, ideate and support our Mischief/Content/PR teams in helping Paddy Power drive talkability. This could be through an activation, social video or custom OOH ad.
