  • Provide leadership and accountability for the implementation of agreed objectives, systems and processes including for example Management and Supervision Tool (MAST) and Adding Value Programmes.
  • Ensure performance management arrangements are in place within all services within the Care Groups.
  • Ensure clear performance reporting and monitoring mechanisms/ structures are in place for all Care group key performance indicators.
  • Maintain effective internal relationships and communication with the relevant corporate service senior leaders and those aligned to the Care Group including: Deputy Director Contracting and Business Development and Deputy Director Performance and Business Development.
  • Support and where appropriate lead the development and maintenance of effective external relationships partner agencies to identify changing needs, problems in effective service delivery and contracting/ sub contracting relationships.
  • Support the Care Group’s SLT to embed a culture of performance management throughout the Divisions.
  • In conjunction with the CG Accountable officer: -
  • With the identified finance lead actively monitor the Care Groups Financial Performance to ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Support the development and implementation of effective financial recovery plans within the Divisions, if required.
  • Lead the development and support the delivery of any performance remedial action plans including Contract Performance Notices.
  • Interpret highly complex performance information and analyse data to identify performance/quality issues.
  • Take a lead role to address performance issues with operational leads.
