Requirements

  • - Associates / Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering; or equivalent experience
  • - 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • - Must have working knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • - Ability to adhere to project execution plans and workflow criteria
  • - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam Revu
  • - Possess an interest in preparing three-dimensional printed plastic models
  • - Good written and verbal communication skills
  • - Working knowledge of BIM/Revit
  • - Experience with BIM Tasks add family editing, expanded modeling skills, understanding of BIM Workflows and project setup
  • - Experience with Revit/CAD file integration into a project
  • - Working knowledge of SketchUp

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assigned projects with the ability to meet deadlines, budgets, and prioritize assignments while maintaining quality standards and accuracy.
  • Collaborate on multi-discipline, multi-company projects.
  • Prepare three-dimensional models and renderings using SketchUp, V-Ray for SketchUp, Civil 3D, and Revit.
  • Assist with preparing and assembling design documents.
  • Assist project managers with model presentation for project teams and client meetings.
  • Complete Revit Project Setup.
  • Download, review, and understand design drawings and models to accurately design and coordinate designs. Communicate design changes and issues with the Project Manager and the Design Team.
  • Provide layouts for project structures including dams, spillways, gates, galleries, hydraulic structures, etc., with supervision and mentoring from senior designers and Project Engineers.
  • Ability to take direction and participate in quality reviews of work product.
  • Generate and improve growing library of Revit families.
