Requirements

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess MS degree with 6+ months of experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering fields.
Must have the required degree or expect the required degree by the date of start.
6+ months of experience in the following:
Solid programming and scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or C++.
Experience working on Linux environments, version management systems and EDA Tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience in the following:
Industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys ICV, Siemens Calibre for use in physical design, place and route scripts, and DRC verification.
Development of job management tools on distributed systems.
Automate processes whether standardized through workflows, templates, and other means.
Knowledge of CAD software administration and deployment.
Candidate must exhibit the following behavioral traits/skills:
Analytical and computer programming skills.
Be able to work in a team collaborative environment.
This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.

Responsibilities

Development of EDA software tools and flows that automate generation of E-Test structure devices
Development and deployment of design automation tools and data management systems
Collaborating with development teams and customers to enable and enhance EDA tools
Troubleshoot and enhance version management systems, EDA tools and issues with complex physical design flows
