Requirements

  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess MS degree with 6+ months of experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering fields.
  • Must have the required degree or expect the required degree by the date of start.
  • 6+ months of experience in the following:
  • Solid programming and scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or C++.
  • Experience working on Linux environments, version management systems and EDA Tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of experience in the following:
  • Industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys ICV, Siemens Calibre for use in physical design, place and route scripts, and DRC verification.
  • Development of job management tools on distributed systems.
  • Automate processes whether standardized through workflows, templates, and other means.
  • Knowledge of CAD software administration and deployment.
  • Candidate must exhibit the following behavioral traits/skills:
  • Analytical and computer programming skills.
  • Be able to work in a team collaborative environment.
  • This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Development of EDA software tools and flows that automate generation of E-Test structure devices
  • Development and deployment of design automation tools and data management systems
  • Collaborating with development teams and customers to enable and enhance EDA tools
  • Troubleshoot and enhance version management systems, EDA tools and issues with complex physical design flows
