Responsibilities

  • Responsible for successful monitoring of patients on the Cancer Patient Tracking List (PTL)
  • PTL management to ensure patient progression through diagnostic and treatment pathways to meet National Cancer Waiting Times targets
  • Ensure each patient has a complete and informative tracking record on the Cancer database
  • Assist the MDTC with list creation for multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings in order to achieve the national Cancer Waiting Times (CWT) standards
  • Collect Cancer Outcomes and Services Dataset (COSD) information for patients with cancer diagnoses and to collect national cancer audit data
