What type of contract is being offered for the CBT Therapist position?
The post is offered on a permanent basis, with options for full-time, part-time, or term-time contracts.
Is there a relocation package available for this position?
Yes, we offer a relocation package of up to £8,000 for those who need to relocate to take up employment.
What is the age range of children and young people that the CBT Therapist will work with?
The CBT Therapist will support children and young people aged 5-18.
Are applicants required to have any specific qualifications?
Yes, applicants must be BABCP accredited CBT therapists and ideally will be willing to undertake a postgraduate qualification in the supervision of low intensity CBT interventions.
What other responsibilities will the post holder have besides providing CBT interventions?
The post holder will also be responsible for co-facilitating CBT-based parenting programmes, supervising and training staff, and supporting schools in developing a Whole School Approach to Mental Health.
Where will the post holder be based?
The post holder will be based at Maple House, Birkenhead, but may also be required to work from other bases across Wirral.

The focus is to provide support and advice to school staff, deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties, and promote a Whole School Approach to Mental Health.
