  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience conducting investigations or open source investigations on behalf of a technology or financial company
  • Analytical and investigative skills combined with the experience to quickly assess large amounts of data in order to quickly detect critical and credible information
  • Knowledge of data tools such as SQL, Python, or other data analytics programming coding languages and data visualization tools
  • Communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Investigate issues regarding fraud, scams, and deceptive practices and how they impact Meta, our products, and our communities
  • Investigate complex cases and conduct deep analysis of potential threats that may manifest on Meta technologies
  • Independently manage multiple analyses at once while effectively prioritizing time
  • Work cross-functionally with other analytic and investigative teams across the company, including collaborating with Policy, Engineering, and Integrity partners
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize relevant data to identify potential abuse
  • Work with graphic and sensitive content on a regular basis
  • Work independently under high-pressure situations and make sound decisions with little supervision
