A Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with double/triple, hazardous materials, and tank endorsements is required.

Candidates must possess one (1) year of experience within the most recent three (3) years or successfully complete the FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
Is there a requirement for a clean driving record?
Yes, candidates must possess an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards.
What are the working conditions for a City Driver?
City Drivers may drive throughout their shift on all types of roads and in all types of weather, with exposure to noise, vibration, dust, diesel fumes, and hazardous materials.
What is the starting pay for the City Driver position?
The starting rate of pay is $28.95 per hour.
Will I need a Hazardous Materials endorsement?
Yes, the Hazardous Materials endorsement must be obtained within 120 days of offer acceptance.
Are there any physical requirements for this job?
Yes, the position requires the ability to lift/carry hand freight weighing up to 100 pounds several times a week and to sit, bend, twist, and climb in and out of the truck.
