  • Minimum education and years of related/relevant work experience required: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relatable degree and at least 2 years of related professional work experience.
  • Additional skills/experience required:
  • Engineer In Training (EIT)
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Microsoft Office
  • Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license or willing to obtain
  • Hands on experience preparing MILCON documentation (DD Form 1391)
  • Hands on NAVFAC or Army Corp of Engineers Experience
  • Public Works experience
  • Construction cost estimating experience.

Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate will help to develop comprehensive MILCON documentation and construction cost estimates. Additionally, the selected candidate will provide technical peer reviews of design submittals, will help to develop Facilities Evaluation Testing criteria, and will perform construction monitoring and conduct/prepare engineering reports and will make recommendations to solve infrastructure issues.
