Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap, with the Director of Client & Legal Knowledge and other key stakeholders, for the suite of CMD Products aligning with the firm’s overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for technology improvements to enhance business development and client engagement efforts.
  • Conduct research to understand the needs of our clients, lawyers and BD communities to support the vision & strategy.
  • Own the product roadmap, aligning with the business, cross-functional partners (Partners, Business Development, and the Leadership team).
  • Take a user-centric approach to enhancements.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from user research, requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including partners, lawyers, and business professionals, to ensure product alignment with business needs and CC strategy.
  • Oversee the experience management programme and administration of Client Development suite of products.
  • Prioritise features and enhancements based on business impact, user feedback, and resource availability.
  • Work with key colleagues to translate business requirements into practical applications and business workflows.
  • Build and lead a cross-functional team within the Business Development Operations function, including IT, marketing, and business development professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and promote effective communication and project management practices.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and technology partners to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the systems.
  • Align products with the firm’s data strategy and governance practice to enable business workflows and support effective reporting.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management on product status, usage metrics, and revenue impact.
