  • The post holder will work closely with the two Clinical Leads and the Consultant Clinical Psychologist to offer clinical leadership and strategic oversight to Wirral MHST. They will be responsible for a range of clinical governance activities, to ensure safe, effective and quality service delivery. The post holder will develop the workforce through clinical supervision, consultation, and the provision of continuing professional development. They will engage in a range of audit and service evaluation activities to encourage best practice and ensure positive outcomes for those who access our service.
  • We envisage that the postholder will lead on relevant projects within MHST, such as the Whole School Approach to Mental Health and Wellbeing within both primary and secondary schools. Understanding the speciality of low intensity CBT informed practice within the context of MHST is essential.
  • The post-holder will be based at Maple House, Birkenhead, though may also be required to work from our other bases across Wirral. The post is offered on a permanent basis.
