What are the main duties of a Clinical Negligence Paralegal at Thompsons Solicitors?
The main duties include liability investigations, medical record review, instructing experts and Counsel, client and witness meetings, legal research, disclosure preparation, court attendance, and more.
What qualifications or experience are required for this role?
We are looking for paralegals with knowledge of personal injury/clinical negligence claims, familiarity with Pre-Action Protocols, Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), and funding within the personal injury/clinical negligence field.
Is prior experience in clinical negligence necessary?
While prior experience in clinical negligence is beneficial, we welcome ambitious individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in this area.
What tools and systems will I be expected to use in this role?
You will be expected to utilise case management systems, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel for producing high-quality work.
