Responsibilities

  • - We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 8a full time Clinical Psychologist / Clinical Lead to join us in Cheshire Mental Health Hub, Children and Young People’s Mental Health Service (CYPMHS)
  • - The post holder will work closely with the Clinical Co-ordinator, Team Manager and Head of Clinical Services, and our speciality Clinical Directors to offer clinical leadership and strategic oversight to the Mental Health Hub
  • - They will have a role in liaising with other CYP organisations across Cheshire, to ensure effective inter-agency working and service development
  • - The Clinical Psychologist / Clinical Lead will offer highly specialist psychological assessment of children and young people presenting with complex mental health difficulties
  • - The post holder will be responsible for a range of clinical governance activities, to ensure safe, effective and high-quality service delivery
  • - They will develop the workforce through provision of clinical supervision, psychological consultation, and continuing professional development, to members of the team
  • - They will engage in a range of research, audit and service evaluation activities to promote best practice and ensure positive outcomes for those who access our service
