Responsibilities

  • work closely with the Director Commercial Systems to implement the vision and established strategy for systems used to support Commercial Lines business
  • lead and provide on-going coaching and development of the Commercial Application System Support team
  • establish customer service best practices and goals; regularly monitor team adherence to these standards
  • use metrics to develop insights for team workflow improvements and to ensure equitable work distribution
  • act as a product owner for an IT production support agile team, ensuring a consistent customer experience, as well as appropriate prioritization and business guidance for defect fixes
  • represent the business units as a subject matter expert for system quality, performance, and continuous improvement
  • monitor and provide regular status reports to the Director regarding:
  • The health of all commercial systems
  • Team performance and staffing needs
  • act as a liaison for stakeholders of commercial systems, including but not limited to Small Business, Middle Markets, Key Accounts, Care Center, Management Liability, Product, Underwriting Office, Sales, PARM, IT Customer Support, Agency Interface, and Corporate Billing for any commercial technology needs
  • collaborate on model office processes, procedures, and best practices to test CLD workflow & system enhancements prior to implementation
