Responsibilities

  • Build on the capacity of CAMHs and to promote and support the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families within the framework of the CAMHs Specifications and Integrated Children’s services plan.
  • Work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team with core responsibilities for the delivery of mental health care and treatment.
  • Deliver training to lower tiers of CAMHs.
  • Work in a liaison/consultation role bridging universal and specialist services.
  • Carry a CAMHs caseload.
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner supported by an experienced team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the wider Children and Adolescent Mental Health service.
  • Access an individually tailored training programme.
