What qualifications do I need to apply for the Community Staff Nurse position?
Applicants can be newly qualified or experienced nurses. A full training and support program will be offered, including a comprehensive Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified healthcare professionals.
Is a driving license required for this role?
Yes, the successful individual must be able to drive and have access to a car, as the role involves providing nursing care to people in their own homes.
What types of care will I be providing in this role?
The role includes wound care, palliative care, IV drug administration, medication/injection administration, diabetes management, and many other diverse nursing skills.
What are the shift patterns for this position?
The shift covers 8am until 8pm, and there is an expectation for successful candidates to work weekends, late shifts, and bank holidays pro rata.
