What qualifications do I need to apply for the Community Staff Nurse position?
You can apply if you are a newly qualified nurse or have experience as a nurse; full training and support will be provided.
Is a valid driving license required for this position?
Yes, the successful individual must be able to drive and have access to a car.
Are there any restrictions on who can apply for this position?
Yes, applications from candidates who require current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible.
What kind of nursing skills will I be expected to perform?
You will be expected to perform wound care, palliative care, IV drug administration, medication/injection administration, diabetes management, and many other diverse skills.
What are the expected working hours for the Community Staff Nurse role?
Candidates should expect to work weekends, late shifts, and bank holidays on a pro-rata basis, with shifts covering from 8 am until 8 pm.

Yes, there is a comprehensive and fully supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified healthcare professionals.
