  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Candidate must hold Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or any other related field or expect the required degree by June 1, 2024
  • 6+ months of Experience in one or more of the following areas: Storage technologies (Dell EMC, Powerscale, HP 3PaR, NetApp, Oracle, SQL), Server operating system administration - Microsoft Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Clustering, UNIX and LINUX administration, Virtual Environment Admin or web administration, Technical experience in computing infrastructure components, data centers, and system support.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of Experience in: Windows, VMS, UNIX and LINUX administration.
  • Scripting or programming experience on a variety of platforms such as: C, PowerShell, JavaScript, VBScript, Python, Bash.
  • Computing infrastructure components data centers and system support Experience in SAN platforms such as: EMC, VMAX, HP, EVA 3Par, NetApp, etc.
  • Network technologies and IP stack: TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN's, firewalls
  • The candidate must exhibit the following behavioral traits:
  • Communication skills, collaboration, and alignment with team members and customers.
  • Flexibility to handle diverse tasks, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Integrates, tests, installs, configures, and/or supports Factory automation software systems.
  • Coordinates factory requirements, maps them to automation systems capabilities and recommends technical solutions.
  • Support data center server and storage infrastructure and equipment installation.
  • Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems.
  • Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs.
  • Position may include some software development of related enhancements, supplemental systems, and/or support and monitoring tools.
