What is the primary focus of the Mental Health Support Teams (MHST)?
The MHST aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties in Wirral Schools.
Who will the Consultant Clinical Psychologist be working alongside?
The post-holder will work alongside Clinical and Operational Leads and will supervise an Assistant Psychologist within MHST, with the opportunity for a Trainee Psychologist.
What type of experience is required for this role?
Substantial experience working in services for children, young people, and parents/carers is required.
What type of governance activities will the post-holder be responsible for?
The post-holder will be responsible for a range of clinical governance activities to ensure safe, effective, and quality service delivery.
Is the role primarily clinical or managerial?
The role will involve both clinical work with young people, their families, and parents/carers, as well as managerial responsibilities, including clinical leadership and supervision.
