  • The applicant will have no less than 1 year of experience in drafting Skilled Worker and Senior or Specialist Worker immigration applications and driving the process from start to finish
  • The applicant will have experience talking with clients about the prevention of illegal working, sponsor licence compliance, business travel and commuting
  • Experience of working in an in-house role together with preparing sponsor licence applications, sponsor change of circumstances cases and supporting clients with Home Office audits would be a plus
  • The successful applicant will help promote the team’s work through participating in team and firm events, assisting with internal and external presentations, and helping write articles for publication
  • The successful applicant will be organised and efficient, have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, attention to detail, be able to produce consistently high-quality work within demanding time frames but not afraid to ask questions to challenge or seek clarification when appropriate
  • Experience of handling a large volume of casework across a portfolio of clients
  • It is expected that the successful applicant will have more than 1 year of relevant immigration experience

Responsibilities

  • UK immigration case management on the KPMG internal account: researching, preparing, reviewing, and filing immigration applications under all UK immigration categories (excluding asylum law; appeals; and judicial review)
  • Researching and drafting advice on UK immigration matters for clients
  • Managing employer immigration compliance through administration of the Sponsor Management System and all associated duties
  • Immigration audits: reviewing compliance of employers and educational institutions through interviews, onsite review, sample file testing, policy review, and reporting
  • UK Immigration Management e.g. securing of all relevant UK inbound entry and work permissions (including dealing with employment law issues and sponsor licensing issues), through onsite review and reporting
