Responsibilities

  • Provide legal and strategic advice and counsel to internal clients and legal colleagues on a range of global employment and ethics issues, including prevention of harassment and discrimination, compensation and benefits, performance management, reorganizations, accommodations and leaves of absence, wage and hour law, mobility, contingent workforce, conflicts of interest, and other matters involving Airbnb’s ethics policies.
  • Support key Employee Experience and business partners on complex and challenging employment and ethics issues; delivering clear, practical advice that enables our business partners to achieve their objectives while mitigating legal risk and keeping the interests of all stakeholders at the forefront
  • Drive and support on cross-functional projects to improve our global employment and ethics policies and practices to ensure compliance with business objectives and federal, state and local laws.
  • Support execution of our compliance communications strategy.
  • Manage employment issues, disputes, and internal investigations.
  • Support Airbnb’s conflict of interest disclosure process, including review and approval of potential employee conflicts and gift and entertainment requests, as well as policy training
  • Track Airbnb’s company compliance with new laws and regulations, specifically with regard to employment, anti-bribery and corruption and other relevant compliance topics, working closely with our public policy, and regional legal teams.
  • Be a trusted and collaboration-oriented partner across Employee Experience global functions.
  • Support Airbnb’s commitment to building and maintaining an inclusive and ethical workplace, free of discrimination and harassment.
