What shifts will I be expected to work in this role?
The role involves a flexible shift pattern as part of a busy CT department, which may include rotations through various CT scanners at different times.
Is experience in a healthcare setting required for this position?
While previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, we are open to candidates who are willing to learn and can demonstrate a caring attitude towards patients.
Will I receive training for the venepuncture and cannulation procedures?
Yes, venepuncture and cannulation training will be provided to the successful candidate if required.
What qualifications do I need to apply for this position?
An NVQ Level 3 in a health-related subject is required, but we are also willing to offer the position as a training post for candidates who complete the Level 3 apprenticeship in Diagnostic Imaging within 18 months of starting.
What types of procedures will I assist with in the CT department?
You will assist with a variety of specialist scans, including trauma, oncology, neuro, cardiac, and virtual colonography.
