Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage the data governance needs of the Global HR Content Hub including development and maintenance of data dictionary and glossaries, data lineage, data and metrics definitions, usage guidelines, user access controls, etc.
  • Provide guidance to data consumers and SMEs to define clear and consistent data definitions, proper usage, data lineage, and metadata
  • Perform data profiling and database structure/model research on HR data systems to understand relevant data elements along with their definitions and use.
  • Participate in data governance policy and standard creation, management, and analyzing potential impacts of policy choices under consideration
  • Document and maintain data standards, partnering with functional and business data owners to map existing data structures, usage, and common definitions
  • Design, build, and execute efficient and accurate control structures to assess data quality and compliance with data governance policy
  • Provide consultative support for data consumers and clients, advising on policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Drive and measure adoption of the company’s data governance focused policy related documents and ensure compliance
  • Maintain awareness of current trends and best practices related to data governance and data quality and continuously improve end-to-end processes
  • Ensure all data privacy and information security requirements are considered in the evaluation of all requests; determine when requests will need to be escalated for approval and facilitate the approval process.
  • Develop training materials/quick-start guides related to data governance/data quality topics and conduct training sessions for various groups (e.g., HRBPs, COEs, business leaders)
  • Support special projects as defined by business needs (e.g., engagement survey data review)
