  • Experience preparing/presenting dashboards and data using a data visualization tool such as PowerBI.
  • Experience clearly explaining complex methodologies and present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Successfully pass fingerprint background check, prior employment verifications and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
  • Travel may be required for State business. Employees who drive on state business must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.)

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of Technical Coordination and Support: Responsible for managing the tracking and resolution of Service Support Requests and user-submitted tickets related to AHCCCS systems Oversee the planning, review, and execution of User Acceptance Testing and external trading partner testing. Facilitates external security processes in collaboration with IT staff. Coordinates behavioral health member updates and referrals. Participates in agency-wide technical and data-driven projects and initiatives. Serves as a liaison between business units and IT staff. Manages the delivery and maintenance of technical and data interfaces between the agency and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs).
  • Oversight of Encounter Processing: Manages the end-to-end receipt and processing of encounter data to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with agency standards. Provides technical assistance and guidance to MCOs on encounter-related issues. Oversee the development, delivery, and maintenance of encounter training materials and manuals to support internal staff and external partners.
  • Unit Leadership and Management: Leads the Data Management and Oversight Unit by providing strategic guidance, clear direction, and ongoing support to staff. Fosters a collaborative and motivated team environment focused on meeting and sustaining evolving business needs and organizational goals.
  • Project and Initiative Participation: Actively contributes to agency initiatives and projects by providing technical expertise and support. Collaborates closely with technical staff to ensure effective coordination, alignment with business objectives, and successful implementation of project deliverables.
  • Technical Representation: Serves as an AHCCCS ISD representative in internal and external technical workgroups, contributing subject matter expertise, fostering collaboration, and ensuring alignment with agency goals and technical standards.
