  • Understanding of Management Accounting and Finance Department processes (either a finance degree, work experience in a finance function, OR CIMA/ACCA/ICAS part-qualified)
  • Strong Excel skills, and proficient with PowerPoint
  • Inquisitive mindset, able to find and develop insight from the numbers that can be used to influence decisions
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Communicate effectively to help build relationships
  • Able to work independently, and as part of a wider team and be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Month End Reporting
  • Input into build and development of budgets/forecasts
  • Providing insight, analysis & financial modelling to support decision making
  • Converting Insight and MI into clear financial outputs and presentations
  • Making process improvements
  • Supporting your manager in other ad-hoc activities that may arise
  • Proactively manage workload to support cost reporting processes
  • Collaborate with multiple business areas across finance and wider business
  • Support Decision Support Managers to deliver cost targets & reporting
