What is the primary responsibility of the Deputy Director of Transformation?
The primary responsibility of the Deputy Director of Transformation is to deliver end-to-end service transformation of public-facing Ministry of Justice (MoJ) services through a newly established pathfinder model, overseeing the planning, design, delivery, and reporting of multiple pathfinder projects.
How many staff members will the Deputy Director be managing?
The Deputy Director will have line management responsibility for approximately 20 to 30 staff members and will also have matrix management responsibilities for up to 80 staff across multi-functional transformation teams.
What type of experience are you looking for in candidates?
We are looking for strong leaders with proven experience in delivering change programs, ideally within the public or private sector, and candidates with experience in digital delivery leadership.
Will the Deputy Director report progress to any officials?
Yes, the Deputy Director will be responsible for updating senior officials and Ministers on the progress across the pathfinder portfolio and focusing on the delivery progress for priority work.
What are the expected behaviours for candidates during the selection process?
