What will the Design Engineer be responsible for?
The Design Engineer will be responsible for interpreting client’s engineering requirements, early prototyping and design progression, generating design solutions for aircraft system integration, and producing design solutions and engineering drawings for aircraft modifications.
What sort of experience is preferred for this role?
Previous experience in aeronautical engineering and/or design experience in aircraft mechanical systems is desirable, along with a relevant technical knowledge and working knowledge of 3D CAD systems.
What qualifications are required for this role?
Applicants should have strong English and Maths skills, and a Level 3 Qualification or practical engineering experience related to Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
Is travel a requirement for this position?
Yes, travel opportunities to additional sites, off-site trials, conferences, and visits to external partners could be a part of your role.
