What qualifications are required for the Diabetes Specialist Nurse position?
The position requires experience in caring for people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. A nurse prescriber qualification or willingness to work towards it is ideal.
What are the working hours for this role?
The successful candidate will provide in-patient and out-patient care across sites from Monday to Sunday.

Patient referrals can be made directly from GP teams and secondary care consultants and colleagues.
Where does the team provide its services?
The diabetes nursing team provides services in both Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, as well as community sites, health centres, and patients’ homes.
