  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of dealers’ and customers’ application, industry and marketplace needs.
  • Customer Focus: Experience consulting and collecting of voice of customer for new product/services introduction or distribution needs.
  • Relationship Management: Experience and confidence working with senior staff and management on industry growth plans, regional merchandising programs or regional dealer programs.
  • Effective Communication: Skills across product, industry, dealer and/or customer audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of ideas and recommendations.
  • Job-related experience in the areas of Digital Marketing, eCommerce or Digital Solutions.
  • Experience with aftermarket business (Caterpillar dealer network is a plus).
  • Experience providing training for internal and external sales teams, direction for future solutions and industry needs, and sharing this expertise at higher industry levels with business unit management.
  • Experience with Caterpillar eCommerce solutions, digital solutions or Dealer Digital Excellence program.
  • Experience creating behavioral changes in organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross functional workshops and governance with partners/dealers to help drive eCommerce sales and eCommerce activation growth plans
  • Execute Go To Market of new digital solutions driving dealer and customer adoption
  • Support dealer digital sales and marketing plan development
  • Gather Voice of Dealer and Voice of Customer to identify and drive needed enhancements to digital products
  • Support execution of digital marketing strategy to support aftermarket sales growth
  • Analyze granular insights by dealer, to provide recommendations for digital marketing improvement and increase in eCommerce growth opportunities
  • Coach and mentor peers in the creation and validation of new solutions to business problems
  • Present insights on gaps, root cause, and proposed actions to leaders and advisors
  • Lead pilot of new digital solutions within territory
  • Participate Go to Market development with Voice of Dealer as needed
