Responsibilities

  • Apply business analysis techniques to capture and document business requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop clear, concise, and actionable documentation, ensuring requirements are aligned with business objectives and technical constraints.
  • Use tools and notations such as user stories, use cases, and process flows to represent business needs.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity in requirement documentation, following established standards and best practices.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to capture business requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop detailed business analysis artefacts, including requirements documentation, user stories, and processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and problem statement development to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Write and issue reports with key findings and recommendations based on business analysis.
  • Collaborate with change, technology and data teams to ensure business requirements are well understood and implemented effectively.
  • Support the adoption of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean and Agile, across business functions.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and evaluate non-technical solutions, such as policy changes, process adjustments, and organisational improvements, ensuring they meet business needs.
  • Work closely with process owners, business leads, and project sponsors to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Constructively challenge assumptions and existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop strong working relationships with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment of business requirements with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with Continuous Improvement and Business Analyst communities to share insight and best practices.
  • Support corporate and organisational objectives by contributing to broader business analysis and change initiatives.
