Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will: Labor Relations Strategy Build a comprehensive AMR Labor Relations strategy, aligned with Apple’s core values and priorities Guide the translation of the LR strategy to LOBs and across US ensures LR strategy is connected to LOB’s business strategy and US specific rules and regulations Work in partnership with Global LR partners to stitch the Labor Relations strategy across all LOBs and globally Cultivate a strategic and holistic understanding of the internal and external labor landscape, connecting the dots and providing guidance on implications and impacts across LOBs and the US Proactive Labor Relations Develop engagement strategies on labor including a robust training strategy that includes solutions to proactively address issues Manage and lead LRBPs for targeted engagement approach, synthesising feedback and identifying themes Proactively foster positive employee relations in close partnership with ER and PBPs Risk Assessment & Mitigation Develop and maintain the management system, including metrics and risk assessment framework, that promptly identifies and resolves engagement risk Connect US management system and risk assessment with global approach Deeply understand available levers at Apple to mitigate labor risk and skillfully navigate People Team cross-functional partners to deploy solutions Acute Labor Activity and Campaigns Provide guidance at all levels, including senior executives, on complex labor relations matters Lead the development of the pre-campaign and campaign strategy in collaboration with key partners Provide leadership strategic guidance and support for campaign management during pre-campaigns and campaigns Advise on strikes and protests, in partnership with HR Legal Bargaining & Contracts Create the negotiation strategy, serve as bargaining chairperson Support contract development and identify implementation impacts Handle contract administration and grievances, as applicable Cross-functional Collaboration Influence and build confidence across key stakeholders & partners to gain buy-in, support, and alignment Foster close relationships with PBP, ER, HR Legal, business leadership, and other key partners Engage in collaborative decision making with key partners
