Responsibilities

  • Act as the connection between local and regional teams to execute Mastercard’s strategy with commercial banks. Work collaboratively with the US Teams. This requires alignment on strategies and objectives for the different programs, sharing best practices from other regions, demonstrating thought leadership, and building an aligned execution plan.
  • Work as part of a NAM team to source, evaluate, and collaborate with targeted commercial banks. This requires identifying the specific needs of these issuing banks, as well as creating and delivering the appropriate value propositions to market win new business.
  • Work closely with NAM Product leads, the broader Business Development team, and parts of Mastercard’s product business to identify opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration and partnership with commercial banks.
  • Responsible for executing on an innovative strategy to drive initiatives in the US, leveraging a combination of partnerships and relationship management skills.
  • Develop thought leadership, identifying and deploying the appropriate value proposition and driving marketing and communications initiatives aligning global framework to regional priorities and strategy.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at identifying and qualifying relevant commercial banks, assessing their strategic fit with Mastercard and our customers.
  • Drive and develop business and competitive intelligence reports. Identify the right metrics and KPIs and perform comparison with other stakeholders in the ecosystem. Track and report business performance of the engagement with commercial banks.
  • Build rapport and trust with Mastercard customers to maximize engagements between commercial banks and customers.
