What is the primary responsibility of the Director of the College Advising Corps-Boston University?
The primary responsibility is to lead the CAC-BU program, focusing on strategic planning, management, implementation, partnership development, grant and budget management, fundraising, and program evaluation.
How many advisers will the Director supervise?
The Director will supervise a cohort of eight near-peer college advisers along with two senior assistant directors.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A Master’s degree with 8+ years of direct experience and 5+ years of management, or a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of direct experience and 8+ years of management experience is required.
Is prior experience in higher education preferred for this role?
Yes, familiarity with federal and grant compliance and working in a higher education setting is strongly preferred.
