Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to an international team of experienced Employment Investigators managing complex employment-related investigations into complaints involving violations of law or policy, including grievances, allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, bullying, conflict of interest, integrity concerns, failure to escalate, and other inappropriate behaviour.
  • Conduct end-to-end investigations across Meta office locations within Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. This includes conducting intake meetings, investigative interviews, background research, and debrief meetings and analysing and synthesising relevant documents and data to make factual findings that address all relevant policy issues.
  • Partner closely with global cross-functional partners within Employment Law, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Security, Internal Audit, etc., and business units to conduct prompt, thorough, and fair investigations.
  • Prepare reports and present oral and/or written debriefs to appropriate stakeholders on investigation findings.
  • Have an ability to discern systemic issues and utilise data to help develop long-term solutions.
  • Provide timely communication to all relevant parties throughout the investigations process, including responding to case escalations.
  • Remain respectful and empathetic in the face of difficult and uncomfortable situations surrounding an investigation.
