Responsibilities

  • Work in coordination with Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee (OCOG) to identify, assess and assign in venue hospitality space
  • Work in partnership with the commercial product architecture team to define service levels and generate budget per Olympic venue based upon sport, demand and session
  • Engage in negotiations with the Event Delivery Entity (per Olympic Venue) for set up and supervision of in venue hospitality space
  • Work with OCOG to define IVH core services supplied by OCOG and delivered to On Location
  • Work in partnership with the commercial product architecture and game stakeholders team to identify IVH opportunities for select top sponsors and partners
  • Aid in the production and delivery of Olympic Family Lounges in venues in which IVH is offered
  • Manage overall event production budgets and timelines to meet project milestones
  • Identify, recruit, train and develop a team of individuals who can lead IVH event production efforts
  • Provide operational leadership, supervision, mentorship and support for the event production team
  • Develop an operational plan to manage event business operations efficiently
  • Develop a working database of vendors available to support in venue hospitality builds; with a focus on local businesses
  • Work in coordination with Art & Design to ideate and render hospitality space for sales & promotional materials
  • Work in coordination with OCOG and IOC to develop process for reviewing and approving creative deliverables
  • Encourage and support use of sustainable products, when available
  • Attend IOC/OCOG meetings (virtual/in person) and report on behalf of the event production team(s) as it relates to the in venue hospitality programs
  • Oversee scope milestones and deadlines
  • Forecast, qualify and maintain budgets
  • Oversee assigned portions of P&L and track expenditures
  • Manage project team and move work forward daily within team environment
  • Liaise with production implementation teams on diagrams and compliance with fire and building code
  • Facilitate and lead production meetings with key staff and vendors
  • Troubleshoot, anticipate and act proactively on event aspects of role leading up and following turn over to production implementation team
  • Maintain and manage venue and venue vendor relationships
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
