Responsibilities

  • Lead plan delivery and administration within assigned programs by working with external vendors and internal partners, including communications and vendor contracting.
  • Serve as a liaison for external vendors; responsible for relationship management of vendors within assigned program.
  • Conduct data research and analysis to provide clear actionable recommendations towards day to day operations and assigned programs. For example, underwriting analysis and rate setting for self-insured and fully insured benefits.
  • Keep up to date on healthcare, disability and life insurance benefit program advances, technology, changes, and laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for overseeing assigned benefit programs including operations, administration, SLA’s. For example, completing financial reconciliations of benefit program claims, administrative fees, and vendor billing, as well as supporting internal and external audit requirements (SOC 1 and Trust audits).
  • Establish quality standards, performance guarantees, and financial competitiveness relative to the programs, and support recommended actions for modifications and new program introductions.
  • Ensure benefits programs deliver a great employee experience through training, communications, and education.
  • Interact with all HR Partners to resolve issues, including HRBPs, ESU, Legal, and Employee Relations.
  • Collaborate with benefit team members to resolve cross functional issues.
  • Lead complex and enterprise wide benefit projects including engaging external vendors, internal stakeholders, and corporate communications. Define requirements, activities and timelines including leading the project team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
